Lesson 2:

Give Me Your Walls

Lesson 1
:
Never Name a Duck

Lesson 3:

Bank Book 6565696

Never Name a Duck

The Biblical theme is Family, and the key scripture can be found in
1 Timothy 3:4: He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with
proper respect.

Rob and Laura keep a focus on family when Rob brings home a baby duckling for Ritchie - and the pet teaches the Petries a few new tricks about living, loving and laughing! As the bird becomes bigger, the boy grows more attached, but then Rob and Laura see this animal needs a home of his own. When the duck returns to nature, fowl play becomes a family affair!

Give Me Your Walls

The Biblical theme is Home, and the key scripture is
Matthew 7:24: "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."

The Petrie home turns into an open house as Rob and Laura welcome over a wall painter who can't help but overstay his welcome. When Vito the painter sees the pretty picture of the Petries' home-life, painting the living room suddenly involves the bedroom, basement and even the kitchen - for cooking! Soon this painter sees that home is where the art is.

Bank Book 6565696

The Biblical theme is Trust, and the key scripture can be found in
Luke 16:11 "So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will
trust you with true riches?"

This episode draws on trust when Rob discovers Laura has a little black bank book with a secret stash of cash - which doesn't make good cents! Soon Rob relaxes when he remembers his birthday, until Laura gives him a shirt for a present. As Rob demands an account for the account, Laura reluctantly deposits the truth - and both balance between trust and the trust fund.
