Day of Reckoning

The Biblical principle is Transformation, and the key scripture is
Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Follow Ben Cartwright as he helps to transform an Indian who saved his life. For defending Ben, the Indian is given a parcel of Ponderosa land. However, between a racist neighbor and braves on the warpath, this man's course becomes dangerously unstable - and it falls to Ben to believe that the tribesman can be truly transformed.

The Hopefuls

The Biblical principle is the Calling, and the key scripture is
Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

When a Quaker wagon train needs escorts, Adam and Hoss answer the call. But as the Quakers travel to purchase a new homestead, their money is stolen by a stranger posing as a friend. While the Quakers quietly resolve to let it be, the Cartwrights ride out to right the wrong - and both show the dedication of those that hear their call and come.

Fear Merchants

The Biblical principle is Judgment, and the key scripture is
Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."

Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe expose unfair judgment when they defend a Chinese friend unjustly accused of murder. After a bigoted lawyer makes the false accusation, he turns the townspeople into a mob. And as the bloodthirsty crowd rushes the jail, the Cartwrights are the only ones willing to face down the judgment of the jackals.

The Mission

The Biblical principle is Redemption, and the key scripture is
Psalm 44:26 "Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love."

To redeem a burnt-out old army scout, Hoss encourages him to guide a new mission. Guilt-ridden over an ambush massacre in his past, the former scout has become the town drunk. Now with Hoss at his side, he leads the soldiers across the great salt flats - stalked by another scout who plots to steal their gold shipment - in a race for their lives and a search for redemption.
