The Lucy Show Bible Study Volume 2

Lesson 1:

Lucy and the Efficiency Expert

The Lucy Show Bible Study
Volume 2

Lesson 3:

Lucy Meets the Law

Lesson 2
Lucy the Star Maker

Lesson 4:

Lucy in Show Business

Lucy and the Efficiency Expert

The Biblical principle is Perfection, and the key scripture is
Matthew 5:48: “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

See Lucy make an imperfect impression on an efficiency expert! To run Mr. Mooney's bank better, a sarcastic expert quips the office into shape. But after this perfecter tries to perfect her, Lucy discovers that great performers aren't always great persons. And all involved find that while perfection at work is fine, perfection of the heart is preferred!

Lucy the Star Maker

The Biblical principle is Gifts, and the key scripture is
James 1:17: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like the shifting shadows."

Lucy shines like a star when she helps a gifted young singer give his gift! Although Mr. Cheever's nephew comes to work at the bank, Lucy learns that the boy really dreams of becoming a singer. So it's up to Lucy-and everyone she can get within earshot-to help the singer find his voice!
(Bonus: The boy is Frankie Avalon-in a role he was born to sing!)

Lucy Meets the Law

The Biblical principle is Accusations, and the key scripture is
Proverbs 3:30: “Do not accuse a man for no reason—when he has done you no harm. ”

Lucy gets blamed for a crime she couldn't commit! When the police mistake Lucy for a jewelry thief, they ask her questions they think they already know the answers to. And Lucy finds theses boys-in-blue are quick to accuse-and just as quick to arrest! Lucky for Lucy, her friends come to free her-and Lucy must choose whether or not to excuse the accusers!

Lucy in Show Business

The Biblical principle is Devotion, and the key scripture is
Psalm 86:2: “Guard my Life, for I am devoted to you. You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you.”

Lucy double-checks her devotion when she has a chance at a new career in show business-or the choice to continue work for Mr. Mooney. When funnyman George Burns visits the bank, he sees Lucy as his new comedy partner. However, when the new act is a hit, Lucy feels torn between the audience and the office. You won't believe what happens when Lucy puts devotion in motion!
